GENERAL PROCURMENT NOTICE (GPN) Islamic Republic of Iran Western Tehran Sanitation Project Istisna’a IRN 00102 The Islamic Republic of Iran has received 173.53 million Euros under Istisna’a financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to finance the Western Tehran Sanitation Project, and intends to use part of the proceeds of this Istisna’a financing (85.81 million Euro) for payment of Civil Works Contracts for the Design, Supply and Installation of a new Wastewater Treatment Plant of 257,166 m3/day with two modules serving about 1,050,000 people at the design horizon of 2031. The main objective of the project is to provide sanitation services for about 1,050,000 people in western part of Tehran and about 93.13 million cm3 of sewage will be treated in the target year. Civil Works Contract Package: Wastewater treatment plant (2 modules) for about 1,050,000 people.- Procurement of Goods and Works will be in accordance with the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under the Islamic Development Bank Financing (May 2009). Procurement of Works: The Wastewater Treatment Plant will be procured through Open International Competitive Bidding (ICB) after prequalification. Tehran Sewerage Company, the Executing Agency, now invites eligible contractors to indicate their interest in this Design, Supply and Installation contract. A contractor will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under the Islamic Development Bank Financing (May 2009).
