Republic of Turkey Development of Ankara-Konya High Speed Railway Line Transportation General Procurement Notice Loan No./Credit No./TF No./Grant No. Project ID No. The Republic of Turkey has applied for financing in the amount of EURO 174.350.000 equivalent from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Development of Ankara-Konya High Speed Railway Line Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds for the payment of goods, works and related services to be procured under this project. The project will include the following component: - Acquisition of 6 Very High Speed Train Sets, Spare Parts, - Special-General Purpose Tools, Test Equipment and Facilities for High-Speed Train Sets with an amount of 10 % - Maintenance-repair and cleaning services for 7-years Procurement of contracts financed by the Islamic Development Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works Under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Specific procurement notices for the contracts, to be bid under the Islamic Development Bank’s international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures, will be announced as they become available.
